Eddy is our Lead Tutor and Chairman.
With over two decades of experience in teaching professional qualifications, Eddy stands as a distinguished tutor renowned for his expertise and dedication.
Over the years, he has successfully taught and mentored numerous students, including several prize winners, consistently achieving 100% pass rates in his classes. 
His commitment to excellence is further highlighted by his membership of various professional bodies and holding prestigious fellowships with three esteemed organisations. 
Currently, Eddy focuses on strategic management and tax, bringing his wealth of knowledge and experience to help aspiring professionals excel in their careers.
His teaching methodology not only covers the essentials but also instils the professional acumen needed for his students to become tomorrow's captains of industry.

Michelle Meakin - CAT, FCCA

Michelle commenced her professional studies with MPES when she was 18 years old, with the CAT qualification.  She then moved on to ACCA and qualifed soon after.  She obtained both qualifications in just over 4 years.

Michelle has been lecturing with MPES since 2013.  Being not much older, she directly relates to her students and give them guidance, support and the technical skills they require to pass their exams, first time.

Michelle's work ethic and technical knowledge is second to none and her student feedback and their impressive exam results confirm what an excellent tutor she is!

Raj Nandha

Raj Nandha - BA (Hons), CA, CertEd, FHEA

Raj is a well-regarded Tax Manager with over 15 years of experience working in the Isle of Man within professional practice and the financial services industry. His career began within the audit and tax departments of large firms in London where he obtained his Chartered Accountancy qualification.
Raj is a qualified teacher and a fellow of the Higher Education Academy. He has in-depth experience of lecturing, preparing assessments, marking, moderating and dealing with the examining bodies across a variety of courses and levels, from A-Level (BTEC Level 3) to post-graduate / professional (Level 7). 
Raj has recently established himself as a freelance lecturer and is offering his expertise and services to MPES to lecture in the area of Taxation. We are pleased to have Raj onboard and believe he will bring additional experience and knowledge for our students to successfully complete their exams."

Sean Freeland - BA (Hons), TEFL, ACA

Sean became an ICAEW chartered accountant in 2018, training with a Big-Four firm. With a diverse background in audit and client accounting across multiple jurisdictions, he offers a comprehensive and balanced perspective in his teaching. He's particularly passionate about business strategy, technology, and audit papers.

A fervent advocate for Web 3, Sean integrates the latest tech trends to provide cutting-edge resources. His bilingual skills, honed from years in Latin America, are invaluable when guiding students for whom English isn't their first language.

Sean's approach to teaching mirrors the ethos of excellence and innovation. He harnesses technology and interactive methods to create an engaging learning environment, ensuring students not only succeed but also build lasting trust. Known for his approachable nature, Sean's commitment to his students is unwavering.

Outside the classroom, Sean is an outdoor enthusiast and an avid gamer.

Martha-Paige Megson - BSc (Hons), ACCA

Martha-Paige has recently qualified with ACCA and is now taking the qualification further into lecturing and education.

She has worked in taxation, audit, and most recently in a CSP covering a broad range of accounting disciplines. 
Martha-Paige has privately tutored for upwards of six years from all ages as young as 7 years old, up to A-Level.She has a passion and drive for education, allowing her to ensure that her students get the best tuition and results possible!
She is looking forward to starting a new adventure with MPES, as a lecturer.

Sean O'Leary - BSc (Hons), ACMA

Sean is a St Andrews maths graduate and began his career in fund management in the city in 1985. He began his teaching career with BPP in 2000, and since then has taught and written material for a variety of teaching organisation both in the UK and overseas, specialising in strategic level papers.

Additionally, he has been a marker, moderator and examiner for a number of accountancy institutes in the UK for over fifteen years.

A keen Rochdale AFC fan, he is no stranger to despair, and is always willing to discuss the restorative powers of a hot meat and potato pie in a wet north facing stand in January.

Jonathan Williams - FCA

Jonathan qualified as an ICAEW Chartered Accountant and worked in practice in London and Cambridge. He worked in practice for 8 years in accounts and audit.

He began his teaching career more than 30 years ago working in a university training undergraduates. He began working for Kaplan in Singapore teaching ACCA SBR and Audit then relocated to Kaplan Glasgow for a change of scene and climate.

Since 2006 he has worked in Manchester teaching on ICAEW, ACCA, tax and CPD courses around the UK, Isle of Man, Northern Island and overseas.

When not lecturing Jonathan and his wife enjoy looking after other peoples’ cats and dogs.

Keith Salmon - Int. Dip (GRC) ICA, CII FP (Levels 1, 2, 3 & 4)

With over 20 years experience in managing conduct risk for a major bank in the International Wealth arena, Keith has a breadth and depth of knowledge in the provision of risk and compliance services, across a number of highly regulated jurisdications, including the Isle of Man, Jersey, Dubai, South Africa, Gibraltar, USA and UK.

Keith is also a highly skilled technical trainer in the provision of financial advice and has great experience in the delivery of internal audit / monitoring and managing thematic reviews.
